LOGISTICS FOCUS: Keeping Track
China Economic Review (www.chinaeconomicreview.com) is a monthly magazine published in Hong Kong covering business, finance and economics in China. It has been published since 1990. Included are a comprehensive package of original reporting, commentary and analysis for the discerning business reader with an interest in China's economic affairs.
The November 2009 issue of China Economic Review magazine included an insert, Logistics Focus. Included is an article titled “Keeping Track”, which cites Kong and Allan Consulting on page 12. Here is an excerpt from the article:
“As a result, RFID's use is limited to a small group of very large companies and there is doubt over the benefit it can provide to the smaller fish. This is due to the economies of scale and the effectiveness of existing supply chains required to realize RFID cost benefits. "Locally, the leap from where a domestic company is at in terms of data management and analysis is too great," said Bradley Feuling, CEO of Kong and Allan Consulting. "The process of taking that data and turning it into decision-making is complex, and for that reason adoption is likely to be very slow.”
